I am applying for the Corfu TM Retreat 2024 (“Retreat”), and in consideration of my acceptance to the Retreat, I agree, as follows: 1. My decision to attend the Retreat is based solely upon my personal experience thus far with the Transcendental Meditation* (TM*) program and/or TM-Sidhi program. No promises or warranties of any benefits or particular results have been made to me or have influenced me to enter into this agreement or participate in this Retreat. I release the TM Hellas organisation, its agents, employees, and individuals from any claims and damages and for all breaches of express and implied warranties (including warranty of merchantability). 2. I am presently in good mental and physical health and I am performing well in my daily personal and professional activities. I understand that the Transcendental Meditation program, Retreats, and any programs offered on the Retreat are not a substitute for professional medical treatments for physiological or psychological complaints. 3. I understand that the course is located in a remote village in Corfu, Greece, and that for some health issues, modest medical facilities are close by, but for more serious health problems, better medical facilities may not be available. I also understand and agree that if the course leaders request that I see a medical doctor then I will follow that advice. 4. I understand that I am responsible for my own safety on the Retreat and that there will be walking required, often on rough terrain in unlit areas, between the venues, and on the herbal walking tour. Any activities I partake in I do so at my own risk. 5. I shall comply with all Retreat rules and regulations and will conduct myself in a manner that will not disrupt the smooth functioning of the Retreat. If I do not comply with the course rules or am disruptive, I understand that I may be asked to leave the Retreat. 6. My attendance at the Retreat is for the sole and exclusive benefit of my own personal development 7. Withdrawal and Refunds. I understand that the £500 deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances. I understand that if I choose to cancel my enrolment on the Retreat before May 1st, I will be eligible for a 50% refund of the Retreat fee, excluding the non-refundable deposit. I understand that if I cancel my enrolment on the Retreat after May 1st, I will not be eligible for a refund unless an alternate participant is found to take my place. In such a case, a 50% refund of the Retreat fee (minus the non-refundable deposit) will be provided. I understand and agree that once the Retreat begins, the entire Retreat fee becomes non-refundable, regardless of the circumstances surrounding my withdrawal. 8. I have read and understood everything in this Agreement and agree to all its terms. I understand that I am being accepted to the Retreat on the basis of my responses to the questions in the Retreat application and my representation, warranties and promises expressed in this Agreement. 9. I represent that everything that I have expressed in my Retreat application and in this Agreement is accurate and true.
